My first kit from late 1982

My first kit from late 1982.   This photo was taken with a 110mm pocket camera.  My body armor was a pink wool blanket worn like a tabard, and belted.  Over that was my blue graduation gown that I had shortened, and added trim to.  Over that was a fake leather jerkin that I had painted a dragon on.  My cuisses were made from thick rubber conveyor belt that I found in the scrap pile at a quarry on the ranch where I was working.  The greaves were deer hide-- completely untreated, so they were stiff like rawhide. No gorget.  LaCross elbow pads.  Cooper hockey gloves.
