Confidence and Imposter Syndrome
I think most of us feel like we're unqualified to be adults, parents, teachers and/or administrators. At school I have learned to just own it with kids, staff and parents. I have gotten to the point that I let folks know that I don’t always know what the hell I'm doing, either. I follow that up with that I’m doing the best I can, that I’m still learning, and that I won't give up until figure things out. I believe doing this teaches humility, and that life is an ongoing process of problem-solving.
